Rich underwater world

Over the past 40 years the “Professional Association of Diving Instructors” (PADI) has grown into the biggest world-wide diver instruction and training organisation with members all over the world.

PADI, the biggest association offering diver training was established in 1966 as the national association of the USA. Their basic principles were so successful that today PADI’s international standard has 70% of the market, consisting of more than 2500 clubs and diving schools, situated all around the world. Now PADI certificates are accepted by all diving clubs and diving federations, where ever they are in the world.

The success of the PADI association is based on stringent instructing and training standards that must be maintained by all members of the PADI. This system is a result of the experiences of a huge number of professional divers, who have developed their skills over many years, gaining experience and passing it on to others. The training flows from basic skills to advanced techniques, from theoretical knowledge to practical diving. The aim of the clubs and schools that work with the PADI standard is to make diving not only available, interesting and fun but also the safest form of underwater activity. An important element of PADI is also availability, customers can participate in programmes of various difficulty, PADI clubs offer courses for everybody, for beginners as well as the more skilled diver.
